Flölsch is a combination of two very well-known drinks in Cologne: Kölsch and Flimm.
Kölsch is THE beer of Cologne. It is brewed according to the German Purity Law of 1516 from barley, hops, water and yeast and has an alcohol content of 4.8 percent.
Flimm, on the other hand, is a liqueur. Although the company is actually called Flimm, the people of Cologne order a very special delicacy from the spirits producer under the name: WaldMeister 11. The green liqueur with woodruff and vodka is simply part of an evening in the bars and pubs. Mixed with Cologne's favorite drink, Kölsch and Flimm then become "Flölsch".
As you can already imagine, the recipe is as simple as can be.
Ingredients:
0,2 l Kölsch
2 cl Flimm
Instructions:
Fill a shot glass with Film, then drop the shot glass into a high ball glass filled with the Kölsch.
And that is it! Enjoy!
